Job summary

TaskUs seeks a Multimedia/Instructional Designer to craft engaging learning content and advanced instructional media. You will collaborate with the LX Design Team to shape the look and interactivity of digital lessons, ensuring high-quality courseware across projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Multimedia Design, 1–2 years’ experience, and proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud, plus a robust portfolio demonstrating relevant work.

Qualifications

• Experience developing instructional media with at least one e-learning authoring tool (Articulate Storyline 360 is preferred).
• Experience creating static and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of e-learning development/interaction levels.
• Knowledge of Mayer’s 12 Principles of Multimedia Learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop learning content.
• Conceptualize the overall look and feel of digital learning lessons.
• Produce a development brief outlining mood board and interactions.
• Coordinate with LX Design Team to recommend best interactions or media.
• Develop advanced instructional media including tool simulations, interactive lessons, assessments, and motion graphics videos.
• Utilize graphics, video, and course authoring software to develop visually appealing media.
• Manage the overall development of the courseware.
• Lead or collaborate with the project team and track development progress.
• Work with media developers to create assets and ensure timely reviews.
• Report milestones, risks, and red flags to project leads.
