Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. seeks an experienced Application Support Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for essential business systems. You will lead incident resolutions, guide team members, and ensure continuous reliability through proactive monitoring and stakeholder coordination.

You will drive troubleshooting, performance optimization, and SOPs, while mentoring engineers and collaborating across teams to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IBM AS/400 Administration.
• Deep knowledge of AS/400 architecture, procedures, and optimization.
• Proficient in troubleshooting enterprise system issues and automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME to guide, mentor, and manage team performance and decisions.
• Lead cross-team efforts to investigate and resolve complex issues and incidents.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely resolutions.
• Establish SOPs and automation to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee system stability, capacity planning, backup/recovery, and tuning.
