Qualifications

- L2 application support experience in production environments.
- Basic Linux and Windows system awareness.
- Knowledgeable with MIMIX.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for IBM AS/400 / IBM i systems.
- Monitor system health and job schedules.
- Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Manage user profiles and security access.
- Review logs and resolve job or program failures.
- Coordinate with L1, L3, and external vendors.
Skills
Hands-on experience with IBM AS/400 / IBM i
Job control knowledge
Experience with spool file management
Application support experience
Basic knowledge of RPG/RPGLE and CL/CLLE
DB2 for i fundamentals
Experience with schedulers
Understanding of batch vs online processing
Knowledgeable with MIMIX
