Chroma Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a senior Employee Relations leader to oversee labor relations and employee engagement initiatives.

The role focuses on promoting a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering productive relationships across employees, management, and labor organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and union negotiations, with strong communication and investigative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 15+ years progressive HR or employee relations experience with exposure to labor relations and engagement functions.
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and union processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Discretion and fairness in handling sensitive matters.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee relations programs, promoting a positive workplace culture and compliance with labor laws.
• Advise management on employee issues in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate labor-management meetings, union consultations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
• Maintain relationships with union reps, employees, and management for open communication.
• Conduct investigations on complaints, misconduct, or violations with fairness and documentation.
• Monitor labor law updates to ensure statutory compliance, including DOLE mandates.
• Develop and implement employee engagement programs to boost morale and well-being.
• Conduct surveys to assess morale and workplace satisfaction; analyze engagement data.
• Partner with HRBPs and leaders to design diversity and inclusion initiatives; organize engagement activities.
• Prepare reports on employee relations trends, grievances, attrition, and engagement outcomes.
• Recommend policy updates and preventive strategies to reduce conflicts.
