Job summary

IT By Design is seeking a Senior HR Generalist in the Philippines to act as a trusted partner to employees and leadership. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach.

The position requires 4–5 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of PH labor laws, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Expect a dynamic, global team and night shift hours aligned to EST.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies and compliance.
• Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent, ownership-driven and able to handle sensitive situations.

IT By Design is looking for a Senior HR Generalist who is hands-on, people-focused, confident handling employee matters, and ready to take ownership across the full employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with leaders on HR advisory, employee relations and people matters.
• Manage the employee lifecycle from pre-onboarding to exit.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions and labor-related matters.
• Manage 201 files, HR documentation, attendance and leave administration.
• Lead employee engagement and culture initiatives.
• Manage performance processes including reviews, goal setting and PIPs.
• Conduct exit interviews and turn feedback into actionable insights.
• Develop and improve HR policies, processes and documentation.
• Prepare HR reports and support compliance and labor requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• 4–5 years of hands-on HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies and compliance.
• Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Someone who can work independently, take ownership and handle sensitive situations with maturity.
• A stable career history and demonstrated commitment in previous roles.
