BE Resorts Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City seeks a seasoned Housekeeping Manager to lead the department, ensuring top standards of cleanliness and guest comfort, and coordinating with Front Office and Engineering for smooth room turnover.

The role emphasizes staff development, cost control, and policy implementation, with responsibilities spanning administration, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years' housekeeping experience with 2 years as Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a hotel.
• Knowledgeable in rooms, public area, linen and laundry procedures and control management.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player and team builder with good people skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct the functions of administration and planning of the housekeeping department to meet the daily needs of the operations.
• Ensure that decisions made correspond with established policies.
• Establish policies and procedures with Front Office for quick turnover of rooms and for productive and profitable result in room sales.
• Establish policies and procedures and schedule with Engineering department for an effective and quick turnover of rooms and public area which are under repair and maintenance.
• Assist the section heads to establish and achieve departmental objectives.
• Have effective control of guest supplies, operating equipment, cleaning supplies and labor cost.
• Evaluate performance of employees.
• Develop career-enhancing programs for staff.
• Oversee the department's skills training program.
• Conduct daily operations briefing with supervisors, team leaders and conduct monthly meetings.
