Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house functions. You will schedule staff, manage minibar procedures, ensure hygiene standards, and supervise Room Attendants to uphold service quality.

You will train the team, coordinate with Maintenance for repairs, respond to guest requests promptly, and enforce safety regulations and hotel policies across the department.

Qualifications

• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment in the area under control.
• Optimize productivity by scheduling and allocating resources (staff, material).
• Respond promptly to guest needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Control costs while maintaining standards and service quality.
• Train staff and develop correct operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and facilitates the room making process.
• Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Inspects guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house for standards.
• Reports maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
• Manage minibar operations and uniform/linen quality as per standards.
• Oversees supervision of Room Attendants and cleanliness across blocks.
• Promotes safety, security and compliance with health regulations.
