Job summary

Kimpton in the Philippines seeks a senior development professional to identify, secure, and drive hotel opportunities across growth markets. You will work with developers, investors, hotel owners, and industry stakeholders to influence projects from concept to signing.

You will lead evaluations, market analyses, and due diligence, craft compelling business cases, and manage transactions through to close, coordinating with legal, finance, operations, and design teams.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in hotel development or related commercial fields in the Philippines or Southeast Asia.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal sourcing, negotiations, and complex transactions from opportunity to close.
• Proven ability to build senior-level relationships with developers, investors, hotel owners, financial institutions, and professional advisors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hotel Management, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with developers, investors, and industry stakeholders to identify and secure new hotel development opportunities in the Philippines.
• Evaluate projects through market assessments, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
• Lead presentations, proposals, and negotiations with prospective owners and investors and develop compelling commercial solutions.
• Manage development projects through signing, coordinating with legal, finance, operations, design, and commercial teams to navigate approvals and contracts.
• Represent the business at industry events and forums to grow presence across key cities and destinations.
