Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer to design, develop, and maintain GIS solutions for our OSP fiber network. This role is based in Metro Manila with a remote work setup.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of GIS development experience, strong Esri tool proficiency, and the ability to build automated GIS workflows using Python and web mapping technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of GIS development experience, preferably in telecom, engineering, or construction projects.
• Strong proficiency with Esri technologies (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise).
• Experience with Python scripting for GIS automation (ArcPy, Pandas, NumPy).
• Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage GIS solutions to support OSP fiber network design, engineering, and construction planning.
• Build custom geoprocessing tools and automate GIS workflows using Python.
• Develop and maintain interactive web-based mapping applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
• Integrate GIS data with CAD platforms (AutoCAD, MicroStation) for telecom network planning.
• Perform spatial analysis, route optimization, feasibility assessments, and cost estimation.
• Configure and administer ArcGIS Online/Enterprise and Portal environments.
