Job summary
MicroSourcing in Metro Manila, Philippines seeks a GIS Solutions Developer to design and manage GIS solutions for fiber network design, engineering, and construction planning. The role is full-time and remote, enabling work from anywhere in the Philippines.
You will develop web mapping apps using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, integrate GIS data with CAD tools like AutoCAD and MicroStation, and automate workflows with Python and Esri tech. A bachelor's degree and 3 years GIS experience are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 3 years of GIS development experience in telecom, engineering, or construction.
- Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and Esri technologies.
- Experience scripting GIS automation with Python (ArcPy, Jupyter Notebooks, GDAL, Pandas, NumPy).
- Knowledge of SQL databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle) and spatial data management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage GIS solutions to support fiber network design, engineering, and construction planning.
- Build custom geoprocessing tools and automate GIS workflows using Python.
- Create web mapping applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
- Integrate GIS data with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Perform spatial analysis, route optimization, and cost estimation for fiber projects.
- Configure ArcGIS Online/Enterprise and manage GIS datasets and assets.
