Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a GIS Developer Software Engineer in Manila with expertise in Esri ArcGIS platforms to support OSP telecom projects. You will design, automate, and deliver GIS solutions, integrate GIS with CAD data, and build web GIS apps using ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

The role requires Python, SQL, and JavaScript skills and offers remote, full-time night shifts. You will work with fiber network engineers and planners to optimize routes, perform spatial analyses, and produce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years in GIS development, preferably in telecom/engineering/construction.
• Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro/Online/Enterprise, Python scripting for GIS automation (ArcPy, Jupyter Notebooks).
• Experience building web GIS apps using JavaScript (ArcGIS API for JS, React, or Angular).
• Knowledge of SQL databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle) for spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage GIS solutions to support OSP fiber network design, engineering, and construction planning.
• Build custom geoprocessing tools and automate workflows with Python (ArcPy, Pandas, NumPy).
• Develop interactive web mapping applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
• Integrate GIS data with CAD drawings (AutoCAD, MicroStation) for telecom network planning.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to optimize fiber routes and permitting.
• Perform spatial analysis to assess feasibility, cost estimation, and routing optimization.
• Manage GIS datasets including pole locations, conduits, splice points, and assets.
• Configure ArcGIS Online/Enterprise environments and REST APIs for data integration.
• Implement Esri Utility Network for telecom asset management.
• Provide GIS-based analytics and dashboards (ArcGIS Dashboards, Power BI) for decision support.
