As Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Black & White Engineering in Manila, you will provide specialist ground engineering expertise across site due diligence, land acquisition and project execution — working within our Global Power Systems and Infrastructure team and alongside our Civil engineering colleagues to deliver technically sound outcomes on some of the most complex critical infrastructure projects in the region.

You will manage client and stakeholder relationships directly, representing Black & White Engineering at meetings and delivering clear, credible outputs that inform key decisions. Essential Skills and Experience

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. A Master’s degree is desirable. Progress towards chartered status is expected.
• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including delivery of ground investigation projects and preparation of high-quality technical reports.
• Proven experience undertaking and managing desktop studies, designing and supervising ground investigations, and checking Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design Reports.
• Proficiency in a wide range of geotechnical software for the design of deep and shallow foundations, embedded and gravity retaining walls, earthworks and slope stability analysis.
• Strong grasp of soil mechanics and the ability to critically evaluate drawings, calculations and reports produced by others.
• Familiarity with CDM Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment, alongside solid experience managing client and stakeholder relationships.
