Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila seeks a senior mechanical engineer to take full ownership of complex data centre projects, leading design delivery, driving technical quality and representing the discipline with clients worldwide.

Reporting to the Associate Director, this high-autonomy role requires mentoring junior engineers, chairing design reviews, coordinating across disciplines, and delivering mechanically complex schemes with precision and practical thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical MEP design, with significant exposure to data centre projects.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering software including HAP, Pipe Flo, Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, manage budgets and meet deadlines.
• Experience undertaking design checks and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, technical partners and cross‑discipline teams.

Are you a senior mechanical engineer ready to take full ownership of complex projects in the data centre sector?

As a Principal Engineer at Black & White Engineering in Manila, you will lead design delivery, drive technical quality and represent the discipline internally and with clients across a global portfolio.

Reporting to the Associate Director, this is a high‑autonomy role for an experienced professional who leads from the front and gets the best out of the people around them.

Essential Skills and Experience
