Job summary

C&A Surveyors is seeking an experienced Geodetic Engineer to own QA for 3D model outputs from our Philippines-based remote team. You will verify boundaries, annotations and title compliance, and provide clear corrections to ensure client-ready deliverables.

This technical review role focuses on cadastral accuracy; Revit and AutoCAD skills are valued, and we will train on internal standards. This is a full-time, remote position with support from Australia.

Qualifications

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PRC registration)

About the Role

Every 3D model and drawing we produce passes through a final check before it reaches the client. We're looking for an experienced Geodetic Engineer to own that check.

Reporting to our 3D Modelling Manager and working remotely from the Philippines, you'll be the QA for our 3D division's output. You'll verify that boundaries are correct, that annotations and wording are right, and that what goes out to our clients is correct. When something isn't right, you'll send it back with an explanation of what needs fixing - so the same issue doesn't come around again.

This is a technical review role, not a modelling role. You'll need to read a model the way a surveyor reads a plan.

If your boundary experience is strong, we'll build the rest. We'd rather hire deep cadastral experience and invest in the software training. Boundary instinct takes years to develop - Revit we can teach you, and we have the people and the resources to do it properly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review 3D models and drawings against survey data and title information before release

• Confirm drafting standards have been applied across every output
• Return work with specific, actionable corrections
• Track recurring errors and feed them back into how the team works
• Help build and maintain the QA checklists, templates and standards the 3D team works from
• Work with our Sydney-based 3D Modelling Manager on anything that needs escalating

What You'll Need

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer (valid PRC registration, verifiable)
• At least 5 years' cadastral and boundary surveying experience, ideally high-volume - subdivision, relocation and residential lot work rather than occasional large projects
• Comfortable working in 3D modelling software, or confident you can pick it up quickly
• The ability to spot the small error that matters - a transposed bearing, a mislabelled lot, a note that says the wrong thing
• Clear written and spoken English - you'll be giving feedback to modellers and liaising with our Australian team
• Comfortable holding a line on quality when a deadline is pushing the other way
