Job summary

One Workforce Global Corporation is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support civil engineering and construction projects remotely. You will develop and maintain Civil 3D drawings, process survey data, review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and assist with budgeting and project coordination.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CAD drafting or surveying support experience, strong knowledge of grading and utility drawings, and excellent documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of CAD drafting or surveying support experience.
• Experience with construction, land development, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of grading, utilities, paving layouts, and site development drawings.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Associate degree or technical training in CAD Drafting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD drawings for construction layout, as-built surveys, and site development projects using Civil 3D
• Process survey data from conventional surveys, GPS surveys, aerial photogrammetry, and LiDAR sources
• Review and interpret civil engineering plans, grading plans, utility plans, and paving drawings
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations for earthwork, paving, utilities, and site improvements
• Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, and estimators to support project planning and budgeting requirements
• Assist with quality assurance and quality control reviews of survey drawings and project deliverables
• Maintain organized project documentation, survey records, and completed work files
• Monitor industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to surveying, CAD drafting, and construction

About the role

This is a remote, full-time position supporting civil engineering and construction projects. You will develop and maintain CAD drawings, process survey data from multiple sources, review engineering plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate with project teams to support project planning and budgeting.

About you

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related drafting software
• Strong understanding of grading plans, utility plans, paving layouts, and site development drawings
• Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and construction material calculations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Associate degree or technical training in CAD Drafting, Engineering Technology, Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Experience processing GPS, photogrammetry, and LiDAR survey data (preferred)
• Familiarity with construction estimating, budgeting, and pre-construction workflows (preferred)
