Job summary

iSupport Worldwide in the Philippines is seeking a detail oriented General Ledger Accountant with a strong AP background to manage end-to-end ledger cleanup and reconciliations. You will review historical transactions, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with NetSuite and Bill.com, US GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills. You will improve controls, maintain fixed assets and accruals, and ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AP, accounting, or reconciliation experience with strong GL background.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite and Bill.com.
• Strong understanding of AP workflows and GL accounting including journal entries.
• Hands-on AP processing: invoice entry, GL coding, and payment processing with 3-way matching.
• Proven ability to reconcile large volumes of transactions and trace discrepancies.
• Excel skills, such as pivot tables and vlookups.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review legacy AP transactions in Bill.com, NetSuite and bank data to identify mismatches, duplicates, and missing records.
• Reconcile vendor bills, payments, credits, and open balances between Bill.com and NetSuite.
• Investigate discrepancies such as sync issues and manual entry errors.
• Prepare adjustments with clear documentation to support analysis.
• Process vendor invoices end to end, including coding, approval routing, and payment runs, and perform 3-way matching of POs, receipts, and invoices.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries, including recurring, adjusting, and reclassification entries.
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules, record monthly amortization, and reconcile prepaid balances to the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly accruals for goods and services received but not yet billed.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording additions and disposals, calculating and posting depreciation, and reconciling to the general ledger.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for AP, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets in support of month end close.
• Maintain a reconciliation log tracking issues found, actions taken, and suggested resolutions.
