Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant general ledger experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across different teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by monitoring balance sheet accounts, including clearing and reconciliation activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and supporting reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights or recommendations to management to support better financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in general ledger and related functions.
• Develop and maintain documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance and audit requirements.
