Job summary

HRTX seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and sustain high-throughput web apps and asset delivery platforms. You will build Python services (FastAPI/Django), expose GraphQL/REST APIs, and create React interfaces to surface critical enterprise data.

The role emphasizes scalable backend architectures, robust PostgreSQL models, and seamless SaaS integrations. Collaborate in an international agile setting, driving improvements and delivering reliable software end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong production focus on Python full-stack delivery.
• Proven expertise developing REST APIs with FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL schema design, resolvers, and client query patterns.
• Solid relational database background in PostgreSQL (schema design, query tuning, and migration tools).
• Demonstrated proficiency in React.js (ES6+, Hooks, Redux/Context API, responsive UI design).
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS APIs, webhooks, or external platforms.
• Strong English communication skills and familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Backend API Development: Build scalable server-side solutions with FastAPI or Django REST Framework and secure API contracts (OAuth2/JWT).
• GraphQL Architecture: Expose flexible GraphQL schemas and resolvers for modern data-fetching needs.
• Relational Data Management: Manage PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations, and indexing for high-scale workflows.
• Third-Party & SaaS Integrations: Connect external platforms via REST/webhooks for metadata sync.
• Front-End Interfaces: Develop responsive React components with modern state management.
• Engineering Quality & Support: Oversee SDLC, diagnose production issues, optimize bottlenecks, document architecture.
• Agile Execution: Participate in sprints, technical reviews, and deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
