Job summary

Proxify is seeking a Senior Python Developer (Fullstack, Backend-Heavy) to join our client teams as a core software architect. This role involves designing, scaling, and maintaining high-throughput backend systems and building frontends, all while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in modern Python and strong skills in FastAPI or Django. Flexible work hours and remote projects are available, allowing developers to enjoy a harmonious work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with modern Python and advanced concepts.
• Solid experience with FastAPI for microservices or Django for web apps.
• Strong background in handling long-running tasks and event-driven processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy robust Python backends and responsive frontends.
• Create secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Profile, benchmark, and optimize Python applications.

Skills

Production experience with modern Python

Mastery of FastAPI or Django

Experience in TypeScript and React.js or Vue.js

Handling long-running tasks with Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ

Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

Containerization with Docker

Writing highly testable code with pytest
