Job summary

HRTX seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and sustain high-throughput web apps and asset delivery platforms. You will build Python services (FastAPI/Django), expose GraphQL/REST APIs, and create React interfaces to surface critical enterprise data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong production focus on Python full-stack delivery.
• Proven expertise developing REST APIs with FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL schema design, resolvers, and client query patterns.
• Solid relational database background in PostgreSQL (schema design, query tuning, and migration tools).
• Demonstrated proficiency in React.js (ES6+, Hooks, Redux/Context API, responsive UI design).
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS APIs, webhooks, or external platforms.
• Strong English communication skills and familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build and sustain high-throughput web applications and asset delivery platforms. In this role, you will architect Python-based web services (FastAPI/Django), establish flexible GraphQL and RESTful APIs, manage PostgreSQL relational databases, and build interactive React interfaces to surface critical enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend API Development: Construct scalable server-side solutions using FastAPI or Django REST Framework; establish resilient API contracts, authorization flows (OAuth2/JWT), and data pipelines.

• GraphQL Architecture: Expose flexible GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and client query endpoints to support modern data-fetching requirements.

• Relational Data Management: Manage PostgreSQL schemas, author complex queries, execute migrations, and optimize database indexing for high-scale application workflows.

• Third-Party & SaaS Integrations: Connect external platforms (e.g., Zoomin and documentation portals) via REST/webhook interfaces, streamlining metadata synchronization and publication pipelines.

• Front-End Interfaces: Craft responsive React.js components utilizing modern state management (Context API/Redux) and responsive layout design.

• Engineering Quality & Support: Oversee end-to-end SDLC delivery, conduct root-cause analyses on production issues, optimize system bottlenecks, and produce clear technical documentation.

• Agile Execution: Engage in sprint planning, technical reviews, and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps in an international Agile environment.
