Job summary

Manila Outsourcing Solutions OPC is seeking a senior engineer to deliver and lead by example. You will own end-to-end test automation with Playwright and later contribute to full feature delivery across a Next.js/React frontend and Django/Python backend.

You will design production-ready architecture on PostgreSQL and AWS, while collaborating with founders to translate business needs into technical solutions, and align with an Australian-timezone team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of building and shipping production web applications.
• Demonstrated Playwright E2E testing ownership with architecture design.
• Senior-level Next.js and React on production systems.
• Strong Python and Django experience.
• PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, queries, migrations.
• AWS experience: ECS Fargate, RDS, S3; Terraform familiarity.
• CI/CD fluency: GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Demonstrable AI-native workflow integration.
• Comfortable collaborating with an Australian-timezone team.

Responsibilities

• Ship production code across the full stack (Next.js/React frontend, Django/Python backend, PostgreSQL, AWS).
• Own Playwright end-to-end automation: design architecture, automate regression, CI integration.
• Own features end-to-end: design, implement, test, deploy, and provide post-release support.
• Set standards for AI-native engineering and advocate tooling/workflows.
• Identify inefficiencies and help streamline processes; review peers’ work to raise team capabilities.
