Job summary

V2 Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Python/Django developer to design and implement scalable backend services and APIs. You will work on web applications, integrate front-end with back-end, and ensure robust data handling.

Requirements include strong Python, Django, REST/SOAP, and relational DB experience; familiarity with React/JS frontend is a plus. Willingness to work US shifts (3PM–12AM local), with overlap 8PM–12AM IST.

Qualifications

• Proficient in writing effective, scalable code using Python.
• Expertise in Django framework.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Design and maintain the architecture of web applications with knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/Bootstrap.
• Implementation of robust services and APIs using RESTful and SOAP; web services.
• Integration of front-end and back-end and content delivery systems.
• Proficient in Relational databases and SQL queries; basic DBA tasks.
• Comfortable working in Unix environments.
• Extensive web development experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend components to improve responsiveness and performance.
• Design and maintain the architecture of web applications with frontend integration.
• Implement and consume REST/SOAP APIs to power the application.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and perform queries; assist with basic DBA tasks.
• Coordinate with frontend developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
