Job summary
V2 Solutions in the Philippines (Hinoba-an) is seeking a seasoned Python Developer with 6+ years of experience, specializing in Django or Flask, to design and build microservices-based applications. The role involves leading sprint activities, writing clean code, and translating user stories into technical specs across the development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong Pytest-based testing, DevOps and Agile practices, and experience with databases and front-end integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of Python development experience.
- Hands-on knowledge in Django or Flask.
- Experience designing and developing microservices.
- Unit testing with Pytest or similar.
- DevOps and Agile practices experience.
- Experience with databases and front-end integrations.
- Git or SVN version control experience.
- Knowledge of templating with Jinja2.
- Experience with AWS/Azure Python APIs.
Responsibilities
- Lead senior/lead engineer in sprint tasks and code reviews.
- Write clean, well-designed code.
- Translate user stories into technical specs and implement.
- Follow Agile processes including TDD.
- Produce detailed specifications.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Follow technology best practices.
