Job summary

CGI Philippines, based in Taguig, is seeking a Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and build scalable Playwright-based E2E frameworks from scratch and drive performance testing with JMeter. You will lead test cycles, analyze user stories, assess technical feasibility, and identify defects while optimizing load behavior and infrastructure bottlenecks.

Strong coding in TS/JS/Python and shell scripting is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on Test Automation (Mid to Senior level).
• Proven, hands-on experience building out E2E testing frameworks using Playwright.
• Deep understanding of modern locators, auto waiting, async/await patterns, and the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Extensive experience creating sophisticated JMeter scripts.
• Strong coding proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python and Shell Scripting.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale E2E test frameworks using Playwright and execute performance scenarios via Apache JMeter
• Manage test cycles, analyze user stories, evaluate technical feasibility, and track system defects
