Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Python Full Stack Engineer to build scalable web applications across the stack. You will work on Python-based backend services and APIs, and develop responsive frontend components using React or Angular.

The role requires 3+ years of Python experience, familiarity with FastAPI/Flask/Django, and strong English proficiency (B2). You will engage in design reviews and collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and other developers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular.
• Clear understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture.
• Background with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Practical experience with testing, debugging and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate independently.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop backend services APIs and integrations.
• Design responsive and maintainable frontend components.
• Handle databases cloud services and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with product owners designers QA engineers and fellow developers.
• Engage in technical design code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Maintain code quality, application performance and long-term maintainability.
