Job summary

White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our AI-native team building modern B2B tax software. You will own features end-to-end, establish robust Playwright E2E automation, and help shape how AI is used in engineering workflows.

You will work across Next.js, React, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS, partnering with founders and engineers to deliver scalable solutions and high engineering standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong production experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
• Hands-on Playwright E2E testing experience, preferably including designing and owning an automation suite from the ground up.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
• Hands-on AWS experience, particularly ECS/Fargate, RDS, and S3.
• Comfortable working in a Terraform-managed environment.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools as part of the daily software engineering workflow.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering trade-offs, and automated testing strategies.
• Experience owning features from design through production support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working with an Australian-timezone team.
