Job summary

IDR is hiring a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to build and improve production web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and SQL. The role requires someone who can work across frontend, backend, and database layers, make pragmatic architecture decisions, write maintainable code, and operate comfortably in a production environment.

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience after college.
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on Next.js experience and PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
• Experience designing relational schemas and writing performant queries.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and testing practices (unit/integration).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend logic, APIs, database schemas, and business workflows.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work directly with PostgreSQL.
• Create clean, reusable frontend components and participate in design discussions.
• Write automated tests and follow TDD or test-first development practices where appropriate.
• Debug production issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Review code and help improve engineering quality standards.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software.
