Job summary

IDR is seeking a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to build and improve production web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and SQL. The role spans frontend, backend, and database layers with a focus on pragmatic architecture and maintainable code in a production environment.

The position offers onsite/hybrid work options in the Philippines and involves collaboration with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional software engineering experience after college.
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Strong SQL skills and production experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
• Experience designing relational schemas and writing performant queries.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Strong testing practices including unit and integration tests.
• Ownership of features from design through production release.

The Role

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to build and improve production web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and SQL. The role requires someone who can work across frontend, backend, and database layers, make pragmatic architecture decisions, write maintainable code, and operate comfortably in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend logic, APIs, database schemas, and business workflows.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work directly with PostgreSQL.
• Create clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Participate in technical design discussions and make pragmatic architecture decisions.
• Write automated tests and follow TDD or test-first development practices where appropriate.
• Debug production issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Review code and help improve engineering quality standards.
• Work closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into reliable software.

Required Qualifications

Core Technical Stack

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern component-based UI development, forms, validation, API integration, and frontend state management.
• Backend / Data: PostgreSQL, SQL, relational schema design, query optimization, migrations, backend workflows, and API development.
• Engineering Practices: TDD or strong automated testing discipline, unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, Git workflow, production debugging, and clean maintainable code.
• Desirable Cloud Experience: AWS infrastructure and AWS Lambda development for backend workflows, automation, integrations, and event-driven processing.
