Job summary

IDR is seeking a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to build and improve production web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and SQL. The role spans frontend, backend, and database layers with a focus on pragmatic architecture and maintainable code in a production environment.

The position offers onsite/hybrid work options in the Philippines and involves collaboration with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional software engineering experience after college.
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Strong SQL skills and production experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
• Experience designing relational schemas and writing performant queries.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Strong testing practices including unit and integration tests.
• Ownership of features from design through production release.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack web apps using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend logic, APIs, DB schemas, and business workflows.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work with PostgreSQL.
• Create clean, reusable frontend components.
• Participate in technical design discussions and make architecture decisions.
• Write automated tests and follow TDD or test-first practices where appropriate.
• Debug production issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Review code and help improve engineering quality standards.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into software.
