Job summary

SGV/EY in Manila seeks a driven due diligence professional to join cross‑functional teams on transactions with private equity groups and strategic buyers. You will assess financial and operational data, conduct interviews with management, and communicate insights to clients.

The role grows toward leading teams and broader corporate finance responsibilities. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accountancy or Finance; CPA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• CPA license would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate views from financial information.
• Strong presentation and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers.
• Analyze the financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and management interviews.
• Work effectively as a team member, maintain communication, and update senior team members on progress.
• Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and deal valuation.
• Perform industry and company research using online tools and public information.
• Assist in researching technical accounting issues affecting valuation and structuring.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
