Job summary

EY in Taguig, Philippines seeks a Manager in Financial Due Diligence to lead and execute due diligence engagements for M&A. You will work with clients to understand business risks and provide insights to support strategic objectives.

The role requires 7–10 years in financial due diligence, strong leadership, and excellent communication. It offers a permanent contract in a collaborative environment with opportunities across EY networks and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• A professional accounting / finance qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent).
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial due diligence or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and projects.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Analyze financial and operational results of target companies to identify trends, challenges, and drivers of earnings.
• Prepare and review detailed financial due diligence reports, including quality of earnings, working capital analysis, and debt and debt-like items.
• Coordinate with other service lines such as IT, Cyber and operational due diligence to provide comprehensive transaction advisory services.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client service and satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities and building industry relationships.
