Job summary

EY Philippines is seeking an Assistant Director to lead and develop the Global Delivery Services (GDS) RMS Financial Crime team, focusing on AML, CDD and sanctions controls across the EY network. You will manage a team of analysts, drive SLAs, engage with country risk leaders and global stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements and risk management.

This role offers exposure to global policies and strategic projects, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• At least 10 years of overall work experience, with ≥5 years in financial crime compliance (AML/CTF/AC).
• Strong knowledge of AML, CDD, sanctions, PEPs and adverse media.
• Experience leading and developing a team (2+ years).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of financial crime analysts responsible for CDD review for new and existing clients.
• Oversee work to meet SLAs, identify bottlenecks and apply mitigations.
• Direct day-to-day operations including capacity planning and workload management.
• Review high‑risk clients and recommend mitigations and next steps.
• Engage with Country Risk Management leaders and stakeholders to build trusted relationships.
• Organize regular updates on metrics, risks and priorities to leadership.
