Job summary

EY is seeking an EY- Assurance – Senior Associate to join the Global Delivery Services team in the Philippines. You will be the main point of contact from GDS for engagements, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and coordinating day-to-day operations.

You’ll apply knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP) and develop leadership, project management and client-facing skills while collaborating with global teams across Americas and Europe.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Indian accounting and assurance standards or IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Strong project management, leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Able to work effectively with global EY teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Review procedures with GDS staff and leverage EY tools for efficiency.
• Build relationships with EY counterparts in Americas and Europe.
• Embed EY Quality and Risk Management procedures in the engagement team’s work.
• Monitor resource allocation, utilization, and budget against plan.
• Provide clear communication and professional conduct with GDS and Global teams.
• Define value delivery expectations for GDS Global teams.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the scope of engagements for GDS.
• Standardize review processes and share best practices across engagements.
• Motivate, coach and develop GDS team members; conduct timely performance reviews.
