Job summary

Netskope is seeking a senior financial analyst to drive COGS budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis from its Manila/Philippines location. You will partner with global teams, support the close process, and develop detailed expense reporting while maintaining US working hours.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong P&L and GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel/Sheets, Netsuite, Adaptive Insights, and Workday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of P&L components and US GAAP.
• Proven business partnership and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and modeling.
• Ability to present complex data to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive budget management for COGS, including headcount and data center spend.
• Support close process with accurate monthly financials.
• Forecast, analyze, and reconcile cloud and data center spend; lead recurring calls.
• Create monthly/quarterly expense reporting focused on variance analysis.
• Contribute to annual planning by incorporating growth plans into COGS.

Responsibilities include:

• Drive budget management for the Netskope COGS function, including headcount planning, capital planning for data centers, and other discretionary spend budgeting
• Support Accounting in the close process each month-end, ensuring accurate and timely financials.
• Partner with COGS team members to assist in forecasting, analyzing, and reconciling cloud and data center spend for the Company; including leading recurring calls
• Create monthly and quarterly expense reporting focused on variance analysis for COGS leadership
• Play a critical role in the annual planning process, incorporating headcount, cloud, and data center growth plans into our overall COGS plan

Job Requirements:

• Required:
  • Maintain U.S. working hours schedule:
  • Monday to Friday/Saturday: 20:00 - 5:00 Philippine Standard Time
• Deep understanding of P&L components, U.S. GAAP
• Proven business partnership skills and self-starter with analytical and presentation abilities
• Analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, navigating large data sets, and building models
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred:
  • COGS finance experience
  • Experience working on U.S. hours
  • Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (both written and verbal) is required. Must be well-spoken, confident, and capable of presenting complex financial data simply to non-finance stakeholders and senior US executives.
  • Systems experience with Netsuite, Adaptive Insights, Workday

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field required. CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly preferred.
