Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Finance Transformation & Operational Excellence Sr. Consultant to join the Operational Excellence team. You will oversee performance evaluations of consultants, drive transformation initiatives, and ensure high-quality delivery within budget and schedule.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment across geos. With 6–7 years in process improvement and 3+ years in project management, you will mentor teams, lead Lean Six Sigma and Agile efforts,

Qualifications

At least 6 to 7 years management experience leading process & performance improvement projects in operations.
At least 3 years project management experience.

Responsibilities

Own & drive pipeline of Transformation & Operational Excellence Initiatives and programs within the assigned function(s).
Responsible for all projects and services delivered by the squad are of high quality and deliver the expected benefits/impact, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Lead medium-sized, medium-risk transformation and/or process and performance improvement initiatives.
Project or Program Manager for complex, high-risk, organization-wide transformation initiatives.
Provide tactical direction & guidance to the project delivery team; stakeholder management and alignment with project milestones.
Build strong relationships with offshore business partners and collaborate with other GBS support functions.
