Job summary

Manulife Financial is seeking a Finance Transformation & Operational Excellence Sr. Consultant to join the Operational Excellence team at MBPS.

You will evaluate consultants’ performance and ensure project delivery meets quality, budget, and timeline expectations. You will lead medium-sized transformation initiatives, manage relationships with stakeholders, and coach leaders on Lean Six Sigma and Agile practices to drive improvements across finance, investments, actuarial, and retirement

Qualifications

• At least 6 to 7 years management experience leading process & performance improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Own & drive pipeline of Transformation & Operational Excellence initiatives within the assigned function(s).
• Responsible for all projects and services delivered by the squad to be high quality, delivering expected benefits, on time and within budget.
• Lead medium-sized, medium-risk transformation and/or process and performance improvement initiatives.
• Project or Program Manager for complex, high-risk, organization-wide transformation initiatives.
• Provide tactical direction & guidance to the project delivery team.
• Align with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and decisions based on milestones and steering committee decisions.
• Build relationships with offshore partners and collaborate with GBS support functions to deliver successful initiatives.
• Cultivate a continuous improvement culture by leading OE Forums and sharing best practices, implement OE and Agile training plans.
• Develop & facilitate management trainings and awareness sessions on OE concepts, frameworks, and tools.
• Conduct LEAN Six Sigma workshops and mentor operations leaders and process experts.
• Coach leaders in running mature operations.
