Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking a skilled finance professional to oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the business unit. You will consolidate plans, generate reports, and support strategy planning with data-driven insights.

The role ensures compliance with internal controls, tax regulations and audits, while coordinating performance tracking, KPI reporting and management commentary. A Bachelor's in Accountancy and 2–5 years in retail are preferred; CPA/CFA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related business course.
• CPA/CFA/CMA/CIMA preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience in retail or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate data consolidation and prepare presentations for budgeting, forecasting and strategy planning.
• Provide business performance management insights and benchmark data to support decision making.
• Support audits (tax, internal and financial) and tax compliance activities.
