Dempsey Resource Management Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced senior financial leader to head accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance for a fast-growing consumer finance platform.

You will oversee daily financial operations, revenue recognition, GL integrity, and the close process. The role requires deep knowledge of IFRS and Philippine tax rules, SEC and BIR requirements, and hands-on leadership of audits, tax filings, internal controls, and treasury management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA highly preferred.
• 5+ years in financial management in consumer finance sector.
• 3+ years regional experience in SEA markets.
• Strong knowledge of PH tax, BIR and SEC requirements.
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus for HQ coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily accounting operations, revenue recognition, and GL reconciliations per IFRS and PH frameworks.
• Direct preparation and submission of financial statements in compliance with SEC.
• Oversee annual audits and liaise with external auditors and internal audits.
• Manage tax filings, CIT, VAT, and EWT with BIR.
• Develop internal controls and cash flow management policies.
• Evaluate new lending product accounting implications and chart of accounts.
