Job summary

Evident | Nimbyx Group of Companies in Taguig is seeking a Head of Finance to lead Philippine finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance. This hands-on leadership role will oversee the local team and collaborate with the Canada Finance team and Manila leadership.

You will own month-end close, financial reporting, and strong internal controls while driving process improvements and cross-border intercompany activities, all in a fully onsite setting in

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA in the Philippines required.
• 8+ years in finance and accounting.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and IFRS.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and reporting to foreign parent.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end closing, financial statements, reconciliations, and GL accuracy.
• Ensure timely BIR, SEC filings, statutory audits, and payroll remittances.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Establish and improve internal controls and approval procedures.
• Lead and develop the Manila finance team; coordinate with Canada Finance.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and group accounting standards.
