DESHIN ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Facade Designer to lead design and detailing of facade systems for Singapore projects. You will develop shop drawings, coordinate with structural engineers and architects, and mentor junior designers.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise in curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and architectural metal works.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in facade design, curtain wall, or architectural metal works.
• Experience with Singapore projects or LTA standards is highly advantageous.
• Senior or lead designer experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of facade systems: curtain walls, cladding, glazing, metal works.
• Familiarity with structural calculations and wind load analysis.
• Knowledge of Singapore Building Code and submission requirements.
• Experience with Revit, BIM, or 3D modelling software is an advantage.

• Review and respond to consultant comments on shop drawings.
• Provide technical support to project and site teams during construction.

Job description

The Senior Facade Designer will lead the design and detailing of facade systems for Singapore projects. You will be responsible for developing shop drawings, coordinating with structural engineers and architects, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring that all facade designs meet project specifications and Singapore standards. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise in curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and architectural metal works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and detailing of facade systems including curtain walls, cladding, structural glazing, and metal works.
• Prepare and review detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details.
• Develop facade system designs that meet architectural intent, structural requirements, and buildability considerations.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore Building Code, LTA standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Professional Engineers (PEs) for structural calculations, wind load analysis, and thermal performance.
• Liaise with architects and consultants to resolve design clashes and interface issues.
• Support the preparation of PE-endorsed drawings and submissions.
• Coordinate with the BIM team for model integration and clash detection.
• Review and respond to consultant comments on shop drawings.
• Provide technical support to the project and site teams during construction.

About you

• Competitive salary (₱70,000 – ₱90,000/month) based on experience
