Job summary

Al Abbar Aluminum Philippines, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Facade Design Lead to direct the complete facade development lifecycle from concept through fabrication and installation.

You will guide cross-location design teams, establish strategies aligned with architectural intent and project constraints, and ensure high-quality execution on landmark projects across various sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
• 20 years of facade industry experience including large-scale/landmark projects.
• Proven experience leading design teams across locations and disciplines.
• Expertise in unitized curtain wall, stick systems, skylight, steel-glass structures, bespoke facades.
• Strong understanding of facade engineering principles and performance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with international consultants, architects, contractors and suppliers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design and MS Office.

About the role

About you

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 20 years of facade industry experience including significant experience on large-scale and landmark projects
• Proven experience managing design teams on high-rise, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, airport, cultural, or mega-development projects
• Strong expertise in unitized curtain wall, stick systems, skylight, steel-glass structures, bespoke facades and specialty building envelope systems
• Strong understanding of facade engineering principles, design standards, and performance requirements
• Experience coordinating with international consultants, architects, contractors and suppliers
• Advanced knowledge of facade design and engineering principles
• Strong understanding of structural calculations and systems performance requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership and team management capabilities
