Job summary

Reed Elsevier Shared Services (Philippines) Inc Company in Manila is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve a global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable pipelines using IaC, automation, and modern DevOps practices, influencing platform standards and developer experience across cloud environments.

You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD flows, mentor teammates, and collaborate with global teams to ensure reliable delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of AWS and IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
Strong Python skills and container deployment knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns.
Migrate legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with clear documentation and best practices.
Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and improve observability with OpenTelemetry.
Build and support Python-based tooling, packages, and automation to enhance platform capabilities and developer experience.
Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standards.
Provide operational support for pipelines and platform components, including critical incident support.
Mentor team members and foster continuous improvement.
