Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to guide and support the HR team and leaders on employee relations matters. This full-time role is based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, and focuses on strategic guidance, dispute resolution, and policy compliance.

You will collaborate with legal and HR, deliver trainings, and analyze trends to improve workplace culture and engagement. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in employee relations, preferably in a large, complex organisation
• Strong working knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and collective bargaining agreements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations and build trust with employees at all levels
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve employee-related issues
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable HR strategies
• Experience in delivering training and facilitating workshops on employee relations topics
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist managers in handling complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management
• Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes
• Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate managers on best practices in employee relations
• Participate in the design and implementation of HR initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and a healthy organisational culture
• Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in employee relations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic workforce planning and people management decisions
