Job summary

Littelfuse Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to drive embedded firmware architecture for safety-critical components.

You will design, implement, and qualify firmware for 32‑/64‑bit ARM platforms using bare-metal and RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr), collaborating across teams to meet UL/IEC/ISO requirements. Responsibilities include unit and system testing, DFMEA, hardware bring-up, and working with manufacturers to achieve performance, reliability and cost targets.

Qualifications

• MS or BS degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years designing embedded firmware for ARM with RTOS.
• Experience with safety-critical applications and cryptography basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware architecture for safety-critical components or systems.
• Establish unit and system tests; collaborate with QA to build robust test suites.
• Develop DFMEA and ensure certification requirements (UL/IEC/ISO) are met.
• Engage with manufacturers to ensure production meets performance, reliability and cost targets.
• Support hardware bring-up and provide design documentation.
