Job summary

Analog Devices in Cavite, Philippines is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and optimize embedded systems for our product portfolio. You will design, implement, and maintain software across RTOS and bare-metal environments, collaborating with hardware and software teams to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions.

The role requires strong C/C++, firmware experience, and a track record in multi-core validation, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive firmware or embedded software development with C/C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors and bare-metal RTOS like Zephyr or Linux.
• Knowledge of hardware protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and peripherals.
• Multi-core system validation, unit testing, and test automation experience.
• Git and version control proficiency; open-source contributions are a plus.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain embedded software for diverse hardware platforms.
• Lead software architecture, design, integration, and system testing; mentor engineers.
• Develop for RTOS and bare-metal environments (Zephyr, Linux).
• Define system-wide test strategies and plans across subsystems.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks; run tests and track defects.
• Collaborate with software architects, developers, and hardware engineers to ensure integration.
• Test, debug, and validate for high performance and reliability.
• Optimize code for performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards; stay current with trends.
