Job summary

Littelfuse Philippines is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical support on processes, design and quality measures for a specific product. You will contribute to design input, validation plans, prototype/testing, and documentation updates.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in electronics/automotive manufacturing, and familiarity with statistical tools like Minitab. Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in electronics/ automotive manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge preferred.
• Material science knowledge preferred.
• Experience with statistical tools/software like Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, complete ERN, ECO, drawings, datasheet and FMEA updates.
• Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for assigned product.
• Leads sample production of new products.
• Conducts follow up on actions, PCN, deviations with relevant departments to gather necessary data.
• Coordinates preparation and distribution of CCR.
• Coordinates with supplier as technical liaison.
• Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement.
• Participates, coordinates and ensures completion of quality related requirements of a product.
