Job summary

XP Power in Pasig, Philippines is seeking an efficient firmware engineer to join our team. You will contribute to all areas of firmware development, from prototyping concepts to feature development, unit testing, and documentation, ensuring high-quality power conversion products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of embedded firmware experience.
• Proficient in C for embedded development; C++ is a plus.
• Knowledge of MCU/DSP architectures and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience with version control and SDLC processes (Git/SVN).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on firmware architecture and testing strategies.
• Modify and verify existing code; perform integration and unit tests.
• Communicate design constraints and trade-offs clearly to team members.
• Perform system integration and validation testing of solutions.
• Support legacy products for troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in full project lifecycle from design to release.
