Job summary

ContiTech is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant focused on EDI Operations to optimize banking-related processes and data exchanges across global locations. You will drive strategic analysis, design improvements, and oversee EDI workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with IT, operations, and business units to close gaps, configure SAP EDI, and lead change initiatives. A strong emphasis on data security, documentation, and stakeholder engagement is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in EDI operations or equivalent domain expertise.
Advanced proficiency in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, or equivalent frameworks).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP EDI implementation and administration.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proven ability to translate complex operational challenges into actionable solutions.
Comprehensive expertise in process mapping, workflow optimization, and business process reengineering methodologies.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence across all organizational levels.
University degree in a technical or economical discipline.
Advanced proficiency in English and Microsoft Office 365.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as operational requirements dictate.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analysis and optimization of EDI operations and business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Design, implement, and oversee improvements to EDI workflows in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and business units to identify process gaps and develop comprehensive solutions.
Manage EDI system configurations, data mapping, and integration protocols to ensure data exchange quality.
Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, SOPs, and technical specifications.
Monitor EDI performance metrics, generate analytical reports, and provide insights to senior stakeholders.
Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing best practices and methodologies.
