Job summary
August Energy in Manila seeks an IU BD Manager to develop AE's Energy-as-a-Service portfolio in the Philippines, from project origination to contract signature. The role reports to AE's Technical BD Director for Integrated Utilities in the Philippines and involves managing local partners and customers across the Philippines.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EaaS project development for commercial and industrial clients, with strong negotiation, network-building, and regulatory insight,
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years successful experience in developing EaaS to commercial & industrial customers in the Philippines.
- Experience in energy services, EPC, ESCO networks or similar.
- Proven ability to originate, develop and close projects in a regulated market.
Responsibilities
- Originate, develop and execute to contract potential EaaS projects aligned with AE's strategy.
- Build and maintain local networks with customers and partners (ESCOs, manufacturers, EPCs).
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on impact to AE’s business.
- Coordinate with technical, project finance and legal teams during project development.
- Negotiate contracts with customers and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support development, delivery and operations for projects in the Philippines with AE teams and partners.
