Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Engineer based in Manila to lead technical work within the highways team for transport projects, including Australia-bound workstreams. You will manage smaller tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and take responsibility for budget, schedules, and quality.

In this role you will mentor junior staff, apply health and safety standards, and contribute to a culture of high performance. A professional engineering license and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and licensed as a professional engineer where required.
• Excellent English, both written and verbal.
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in design/engineering.
• Strong drainage design experience with relevant standards and software.
• Ability to work independently in a complex environment and guide junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of smaller tasks and coordinate with discipline teams.
• Lead task delivery, budget monitoring, and progress forecasting as needed.
• Provide technical input to studies and design deliverables.
• Ensure design integrity, compliance with standards, and quality control.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with Arcadis regional offices.
• Collaborate across design disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
